Dr. Berro is highly skilled, conscientious, and knowledgeable. And he has great hands with a light touch. (I have TMJ, so a light touch is important.)
A friend highly recommended Dr. Berro to me. I was impressed during my initial consult. After due diligence consults with two other orthodontists I was more impressed with Dr. Berro. (One of the other ortho’s said he’d have to pull another tooth to make enough room to straighten my lower teeth. Dentists pulling my teeth so others would fit is what started the problem in the first place.!)
I needed full braces for two years. I can’t fit the whole experience into a single review. Here are the highlights:
• Dr. Berro and staff worked around my TMJ. Getting the braces on was bit rough on my jaw; there’s no getting around the fact that fitting braces requires your jaw to be open. A lot. But we took mini-breaks, they used child-sized openers, and Dr. Berro modified some of the process to minimize impact to my jaw.
• Months and months of check-ins went smoothly. This is where Berro’s staff shows their superiority. Always friendly, helpful and competent. Strong process-driven environment kept front and back office running smoothly. They’re very focused on a good patient experience. In two years there was a single occurrence when I had to wait more than 30 minutes. An assistant had gone home sick, plus I’d scheduled during after-school hours (meaning lots of kids in the office.) The receptionist apologized and offered to rescheduled. I decided to give it a few more minutes, she kept me updated on progress; it all worked out. I wish all my doctors created such great environments.
• My teeth align ahead of schedule. Hurrah! Braces came off right before summer vacation. An unexpected surprise. Dr. Berro and his office accommodated my vacation schedule, rushing the retainer creation/fitting to I had them before flying out of town.
• I’m now in the retainer stage. So far, so good.
Life with braces wasn’t exactly fun. But Dr. Berro and his staff made it as simple, clear-cut and pleasant as it could be. And I love my teeth now. I can’t stop smiling!

Over halfway through my 20 month Invisalign treatment. Dr. Berro and his staff are always friendly and professional. They worked closely with my traditional dentist, as well as other specialists all in close consideration and coordination given my various jaw and alignment issues. In each case they all collaborated to make the best decisions for me! Highly recommend.
